One call covers the whole house
Typical Los Angeles–area price ranges shown so you know what to expect. Every job gets a firm written quote after we see it — free.
Ranges are typical figures for the greater LA area and depend on size, materials and site conditions. Your written quote from Tom is the number that counts — estimates are always free.

Ask Tom
Wondering if that wall can come down? Whether the patio needs a permit? If a repair is worth doing before you sell? Send Tom the question — he's been building in LA for over twenty years and reads every message himself.

Straight answers
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — Thomas Murray Construction holds California General Building Contractor license #811963, issued in 2002, and is bonded and insured. You can verify our license anytime at the CSLB website (cslb.ca.gov).
Is the estimate really free?
Really free. Tom looks at the job, gives you a firm written number, and you decide. No fee, no pressure, no obligation — whether the job is a full ADU or a stuck door.
Do you handle permits?
Yes. For work that requires permits — additions, ADUs, structural, most patio covers — we handle the drawings, filing, and inspections as part of the job, and we'll tell you upfront whether your project needs one.
Do you work with insurance claims?
We do. For fire and water damage we can assess the damage, document it for your claim, and work with your adjuster — then do the repair right. If you're mid-claim, reach out before you sign anything.
How soon can you start?
Small repairs can often be scheduled within days; larger remodels depend on the current schedule and permits. Tell us your timeline in the quote form and Tom will give you an honest start window — not a sales answer.
